Mitsubishi Electric mini splits have a far lower amp draw than conventional HVAC systems, so they are easier to power from portable generators. By installing a mini split unit with a “generator ready” disconnect or transfer switch, you’ll be ready to provide heating & cooling in the event of a power outage.
During the sales period of 3/15/2022 – 9/30/2022, all qualifying 1-1 and multi-zone equipment systems sold with a generator-ready disconnect or transfer switch will be eligible for a consumer rebate as outlined below. All system components and parts must be purchased from Hunton Distribution – without exception.
